Why we built Medscan
Every treatment plan begins with a diagnosis, and every good diagnosis begins with a clear picture. For too long, patients in and around Karnal have had to choose between long journeys to metro hospitals and settling for less than the imaging their doctors asked for. Medscan exists to end that trade-off.
We brought seven modalities — 3T MRI, multislice CT, whole-body PET-CT, gamma camera, 3D mammography, whole-body DEXA and colour Doppler — under one purpose-built roof, and paired them with the thing technology can't replace: experienced radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians who take the time to get every study right.
The centre itself was designed around the patient, not the machines. Travertine and teak instead of clinical corridors. Private post-dose bays instead of crowded waiting halls. Staff who explain your scan in Hindi, Punjabi or English — whichever feels like home.
Led by Dr. Harpreet Kaur
Medscan is led by Dr. Harpreet Kaur, who oversees the centre's clinical standards — from imaging protocols and radiation safety to the quality of every report that leaves the building. Under her direction, urgent studies are read the same day, referring physicians get direct radiologist access for case discussion, and every patient leaves knowing what happens next.
